Safety – Impact Resistance
Lara® Glass Block walls are impact resistant because of their multilayered structure and durability gained by the subsidiary material used in their production. This peculiarity may be further improved with application of certain wall dimensions, joint widths and use of reinforcing bars. When applied at special sites such as the floors of building entrances, precious material storages or armories, reinforcing bars have to be placed between each block row in vertical and horizontal position. In applications at indoor courts which are used for ball games such as basketball or volleyball the relevant standards are complied with.
